Air inlet design: The design of the air inlet is crucial for ensuring the normal operation of the generator set. In order to meet the needs of engine combustion and unit heat dissipation, the air inlet must provide sufficient fresh air volume. The air inlet is usually located on the side or top of the unit, with a larger opening area and equipped with a dedicated air inlet filter. The intake filter can effectively filter out particulate matter such as dust and impurities in the air, preventing them from entering the engine and generator, and affecting the normal operation and service life of the unit. In the internal structural design of the air inlet, maze or louver style air inlet channels are used, which are equipped with multiple layers of sound-absorbing materials inside. This not only guides the air to enter the unit smoothly, but also effectively reduces the airflow noise generated during the air intake process, avoiding the internal noise of the unit from propagating out through the air inlet.

Exhaust port design: The main function of the exhaust port is to discharge the heat and exhaust gas generated during the operation of the unit. The exhaust outlet also needs to have sufficient ventilation area to ensure that heat can be dissipated in a timely and effective manner, maintaining the normal operating temperature of the unit. The exhaust outlet is usually located on the other side of the unit, corresponding to the air inlet, forming a good air convection channel. At the exhaust outlet, efficient cooling fans and exhaust mufflers are installed. The cooling fan is responsible for forcibly discharging the hot air inside the unit, and its speed and air volume can be automatically adjusted according to the actual temperature of the unit. The exhaust muffler is used to reduce the noise generated during the exhaust process. It adopts a structure and principle similar to the exhaust muffler, and effectively reduces the impact of exhaust noise on the surrounding environment through multi-stage noise reduction, sound absorption and other measures. In addition, a protective net is also installed outside the exhaust outlet to prevent foreign objects from entering and affecting the normal operation of the unit.

Cooling fan and air duct design: Cooling fan is one of the core components of ventilation and cooling system, and its performance directly affects the cooling effect of the unit. Silent generator sets typically use low-noise, high-efficiency cooling fans, which are designed with consideration of factors such as blade shape, quantity, angle, and speed to meet cooling requirements while minimizing airflow noise generated during fan operation. The design of the air duct is also crucial. The shape and size of the air duct need to be optimized according to the internal structural layout and air flow requirements of the unit, ensuring that the air can flow smoothly inside the unit and evenly dissipate the heat generated by each component. Smooth surface treatment is usually used inside the air duct, and devices such as deflectors are installed to reduce resistance and turbulence during air flow, improve heat dissipation efficiency, and reduce noise generation.
